Raj has close to 15 years’ experience in restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency industry. In his time in the profession, he has assisted distressed businesses across various industries in Singapore and Australia and advised company directors, accountants, lawyers, and stakeholders on turn around solutions, restructuring arrangements and formal insolvency procedures. Raj also possesses considerable knowledge of personal insolvency laws and processes having worked on contentious and complex bankruptcies, personal insolvency agreements and compositions.
Having witnessed businesses and individuals take the formal insolvency route either too quickly or unnecessarily, often at huge personal and financial costs, Raj set up Solvent to address the gap in the market for viable micro, small and medium size businesses in financial difficulties requiring access to prompt, strategic and cost-effective advice of business doctors, not undertakers.
